How does a neuropsychological assessment work?
The assessment involves standardised testing sessions, interviews with guardians, and when needed, contact with the school. At the end you receive a full report with a diagnosis and tailored recommendations.
Do you offer in-person and online sessions?
Yes! We offer in-person sessions at our clinic locations and online sessions for clients anywhere.
Is the report accepted by schools?
The neuropsychological report is widely accepted by mainstream and specialist schools. It forms the basis of the Individualised Education Plan (IEP) and protects the child's rights in the school environment.
What is the difference between giftedness and twice-exceptionality?
Giftedness refers to abilities significantly above average in one or more areas. Twice-exceptionality occurs when giftedness co-exists with ADHD, ASD, or other learning difficulties — a profile that is frequently missed.
How long does the assessment process take?
Typically 3 to 6 sessions depending on the complexity of the case. The report is delivered within 15 business days after the final testing session.
